We could not be more excited to share the coffee from our farm in Pijao Colombia!  This is a honey-process coffee, which means the beans were dried in their mucilage, which adds an extra layer of sweetness and fruitiness to the cup quality.

To learn more about our project in Pijao, please click on Applied Sciences in our main menu (under About Us)

This is a medium roast, with a pleasant, medium-body mouthfeel.  We taste apple, baking spices, and milk chocolate.

Shipping & Returns

We roast in small batches twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, so your coffee is always fresh.  If there is a lag between your order date and shipping date that is due to needing to wait until the next roast date to fulfill your order.

We offer flat rate $5 standard shipping in the continental US for one 12 oz bag, $7.50 for two 12oz bags, and free shipping for orders over $48.  Standard shipping should arrive 3-4 days after shipping.

We currently do not ship internationally, but may add that in the future.  We will post that here when available.

For expedited shipping we charge the cost of the shipping, which will be available at checkout.

Coffee is a perishable prioduct, and we roast to order, so we do not offer returns or exchange. If, however, your coffee arrives damaged or you receive the wrong order, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make it right!

Care Instructions

We roast twice a week, and recommend you order less coffee more frequently to enjoy always fresh coffee. We do offer grinding your order, but we recommend that you order whole bean and grind within 15 minutes of brewing for optimum freshness, if possible.

Columbian Quimbio Project Pijao one of the best in city

Did a taste sample of Applied Arts Coffee at Paradigm Gardens Holiday Mkt. The Quindio Project Pijao Honey really stood out to me. Bought on line, for pick up in the upper9. Used for Cold Toddy in my Houston Cold Toddy drip- very happy with the product. Will be making it a regular rotation in my coffee indulgence.

1st try

Loving the flavor, not hit with acidic taste which is good. Used as main ingredient for a fresh salmon rub which we barbequed. It was a delicious addition.

My new favorite coffee!!

So Catchlight was my favorite, until I met Honey haha!! This Honey-process coffee is exceptionally smooth, non-acidic, flavorful & the aroma is awesome!! The low acidity, smoothness & flavor make this my new favorite! Love the sustainable farming as well! Keep up the great work Applied Arts Coffee!!
