12oz/340g Bag

This is a medium-dark blend, composed of beans carefully roasted to their own medium-dark profile, and blended together, crosshatched to develop this particular taste profile and mouthfeel.  The beans in this blend will change seasonally, but we  will always aim to maintain the body and flavor notes here.  Currently the three washed-process coffees included are from Guatemala, Ecuador, and Peru.  Velvety, full body and low acidity, this tastes great black or with milk & sugar.

Works well as a pour over, drip coffee, or french press (and espresso if you like slightly darker!)

We taste: Chocolate, caramel, and raisins

Shipping & Returns

We roast in small batches twice a week, on Sundays and Wednesdays, so your coffee is always fresh.  If there is a lag between your order date and shipping date that is due to needing to wait until the next roast date to fulfill your order.

We offer flat rate $5 standard shipping in the continental US for one 12 oz bag, $7.50 for two 12oz bags, and free shipping for orders over $48.  Standard shipping should arrive 3-4 days after shipping.

We currently do not ship internationally, but may add that in the future.  We will post that here when available.

For expedited shipping we charge the cost of the shipping, which will be available at checkout.

Coffee is a perishable prioduct, and we roast to order, so we do not offer returns or exchange. If, however, your coffee arrives damaged or you receive the wrong order, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can make it right! info@appliedartscoffee.com

Care Instructions

We roast twice a week, and recommend you order less coffee more frequently to enjoy always fresh coffee. We do offer grinding your order, but we recommend that you order whole bean and grind within 15 minutes of brewing for optimum freshness, if possible.

My best morning cup!

Crosshatch offers the ideal balance of light and dark. The result is a blend that is both bold and smooth, with low acidity and lively spirit. I look forward to my morning coffee every day. A perfect start to life’s challenges!

My New Fave

This blend is exactly what I've been looking for in an espresso - dark, robust roast, low acidity, and versatile. I love it as a cortado for my morning coffee ritual!

Favorite!

Crosshatch is my favorite roast from Applied Arts! It is a delicious blend especially if you enjoy dark, robust coffee. I missed it while Applied Arts was in the process of moving! I'm delighted that they are selling coffee again! I'm also excited to try it as a latte, but right now I'm enjoying it black because of the rich flavors!

superb expressos

The roast (not dark) has proven to be an excellent choice for expressos. I prefer my coffee strong but mild on the go.

Perfect roast!

Crosshatch is perfect. Smooth balance of flavors, just dark enough for my taste, and delicious as espresso, in a milky latte, or on ice. I don't want to drink anything else!
